The annual Roger’s Royals Face-Off Booster Club Golf Fundraiser and Silent Auction was held on Sunday, September 7, 2008.  Sixty-eight golfers participated in this year’s event.  The weather forecast called for rain but it held off, so it was a great day for golf, the skies were partly cloudy with a temp of 65.  The winning Women’s Team was Shelley Mumm, Vicki Bishop, Dee Longren and Tracey Bishop with a score of 73.  The winning Men’s team was Billy Brey, Brian Ellefsen, Robb Oler and Gary Ohlmen with a score of 59.  In addition to 18 holes of golf, there was a unique putting contest - player’s had to use a hockey stick to make the putt.   Shawn Peck from Metal Craft won this event.
